I'm Husny Jeffrey — a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Grab, where I help ensure the quality of features used by millions of people across Southeast Asia.

I was born and raised in Galle, in the southern part of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, and I've been living in Singapore 🇸🇬 since March 2018. I hold a master's degree in IT from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK.

Writing is my greatest passion — so engaging that I often forget the world around me. On this site I share practical, experience-based guides: the real cost of living in Singapore, visa processes I've been through myself, and hands-on notes from my work in software testing and AI evaluation.
